This is what Hannah will be wearing today. Yes, it’s true, I actually do take the time to stop sewing for everyone else and sew something for my child. It’s a rare occurence, but ever since I found this white fabric with green shamrocks, I knew I was going to make something just for her. One I got home, I dove head first (no really. I did. There’s that much fabric. Have you SEEN my sewing room?) and I dug out the deep green linen/cotton blend fabric with white shamrocks out of my fabric stash, the perfect mate for my new find. I started this tunic a month ago and spent the last month looking at it, passing it from one to-do pile to another and finally, I made the time to complete it. Today. The 16th of March. At 8:30pm. I’ll show off pictures of her in her new frock this weekend.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day, don’t forget your green!
