 For the mom who loves hip, modern and fun but doesn't want to blow the paycheck, who is curious about going green but wants to start small not jump into crunchy granola, who loves her children more than life itself but thanks the Lord for preschool,who loves to laugh and at the same time, loves to cry and who can be found on most days with a ponytail in her hair and a mug of coffee in her hands. 
I'm Liz Davis the creator, founder, seamstress and marketer behind FrayBabyBibsandMore. I'm a military spouse,currently living deep in the heart of Texas (Lubbock to be exact!) with my fantastic husband and two beautiful children, a crazy fun preschooler and an adorably sweet infant. I stay at home with my children while I run FrayBaby. Friends and family ask where I find the time but the truth is, FrayBaby is my outlet, the work keeps me busy (okay, busy-ER) and keeps me sane. Along with sewing, I enjoy scrapbooking, crocheting, traveling and organizing (which ends up making a bigger mess than I had to begin with). I am also a Hostess cupcake addict and I am hoping there is a 12 step program out there somewhere for my affliction. Yes, I used to work in the corporate world, as a Marketing Analyst no less, but I abandoned that world shortly after I got married and my husband (under the orders of Uncle Sam) whisked me away to Hawaii where we were stationed for 4 1/2 years. Out of those 4 1/2 years, my husband was deployed 29 months. It was during the second deployment, in 2006, that I started sewing again, making my son small crib quilts, burp cloths and bibs. My sewing was a time killer and a small hobby for the next year or so. In March of 2008, after making and giving endless baby bibs and burp cloths to any and all mommies-to-be, I took the plunge and opened my Etsy shop. In June of 2009, FrayBabyBibsandMore.com was launched and brought along the FrayBabyBibsandMore blog with it, along with links to our THREE online shops. Currently, you can find FrayBabyBibsandMore items online AND at Loveable Creations Boutique on 50th Street in Lubbock, Texas (between Quaker and Indiana).
